Support Japan

As those who have travelled to Japan will no doubt confirm, the people of Japan are incredibly welcoming and courteous, and are central to the Japanese holiday experience. As winter fast approaches, those working in Japanese ski fields are now preparing to open their doors to international skiers for the 2011/12 season.

The "Support Japan Ski Japan" campaign aims to provide assistance following the March 11 earthquake & tsunami by promoting awareness of, and facilitating easier access to, Japanese ski services. The campaign will also raise funds for the Japanese Red Cross Society. "Support Japan Ski Japan" is being implemented by the JNTO London Office and RoomBoss, a Japanese technology company that serves the ski industry.

As a part of this campaign 3.75% of the value of accommodation bookings and 5.00% of the value of service bookings (such as airport transfers, lift tickets, ski hire and ski lessons) made here will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
